
Have you ever wondered to yourself, What can I do to make myself feel better? Your mind telling you “I don’t belong here, I feel left out”.
I definitely have!
I grew up in a very small town, where it seemed everyone had the same personality. You couldn’t be different or you would be the talk of the town, everybody has their own opinions of how you were so weird just because they didn’t have the courage to do it themselves. This took a massive toll on my mental health, I felt like an alien. Not comfortable in my own skin. Like I was playing a character.
Now that I’ve finally left that judgemental place, I am becoming the person I wanted to be, creating my own identity. I am still judged but I don’t really care. Because I have put myself first. I love life now, I have totally changed my perception, from an anxious girl who had anger issues to a girl that just wants to be at peace.
I can see myself becoming more and more aware of myself and the world around me everyday and I am filled with gratitude that I am able to feel that way. For years I struggled to find gratitude in life, I felt the world was out to get me. But now I know I can make my life the way I want it too be not how others think it should be.
10 ways: I am changing my life for the better and you can too!
1. A gratitude journal – Every day and night I write in my journal an affirmation, how may day went and my feelings throughout the day. This really helps me reflect on the whole day and helps me understand more about myself, gives me confidence and gives me more gratitude. 2. Listen to subliminal videos– This has helped me a lot over the past few years, just to give a little love to myself and feel more confident. A subliminal has positive word that you cant hear, this goes straight to you subconscious mind! Your subconscious makes your believes about yourself, so when you listen the word becomes true. 3. Guided meditations– I really recommend this as you can fully relaxed, be conscious to your breath and body. and you can connect with your higher self.
4. Scripting– This is a manifestation technique that I have used many times to feel into my future self. once upon a time not so long ago I had no idea what I wanted my life to be like. So I would sit down with paper, meditate on my life and what I am interested in. After doing this for a long time the universe finally came through and showed me i want to help others through my word. Hence why this blog was created and the subliminal channel. I also want to public speak and write a book in my life.
5. Visualization– After I script my life then I like to imagine how it would look through my eyes and how I would feel doing this. Your brain cannot tell the difference between imagination and what is real. so be delusional guys!!!!!
6. Self care– Nothing like a good skin care night! It helps you feel more confident in yourself and your self worth. You are invincible when you spend time on yourself. You are stuck with you for life babe so take care of her! 7. Self concept– I just recently learned about this and how important it is to believe in yourself before you can raise your vibrations and attract what you want in life. Whenever I listen to this, I get a feeling of safety because I know that this is going to take me to the next level in life also it makes me feel like a bad b****
8. Books~ Books is one of the best ways to relax and get away from reality for a while. It is very important to find a topic of books you like, I have found that my preferred area is reading books on self care and how i can change my mindset. My favourite book is Think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill, it is all about when you truly believe in something it will happen. 9. Hobbies~ This is one thing I am so glad I started after my badly depressed and anxious years. when i moved across the country, I found my guitars, I used to play when i was young and because i had nothing else to do I started again. BEST DESICION EVER! it completely took my mind off of the things I would always overthink about and I found so much clarity by doing something I love.
10. Exercise~ This is another very important one. What doctors recommend as it releases dopamine (the happy drug) in your brain. It doesn’t even have to be a strenuous exercise, just go a walk and put on your favourite music, have a dance. My particular favourite would have to be Pilates. it is low impact, you can do it from home and you see great results. I have always loved yoga so this made it exercising even better!
